GL.iNet GL-MT6000 or Asus TUF-AX6000

so is it mt6000 flint 2 or tuf ax6000 at same price tag? your opinion?

thank you

MT6000 if the price is the same.

More ram, more flash, installation is easier.

Tuf is significantly bigger

do you think the tuf ax6000 will have better coverage with more antennas?? i cannot seem to find any comparison, 2,4ghz is important for some IoT stuff in my setup.. apart from that i don't really care about physical size :stuck_out_tongue:

thank you for your replies and opinions so far

if you check the inside picture of MT6000, you can see it has 8 antennae, not 4.

pretty sure it's the same number of antennae, as the TUF has.
just a slightly different placement maybe.

not sure if anyone did an extensive comparison of the wifi coverage.

Physics is physics. The range will be the same. Then again Asus does fake FCC test data so maybe they are pumping more power?

ok, so i guess 6 external antenna vs. 4 is just aesthetics. i will have a look at fcc site

thank you.

Strongly advice you to read official mt6000 & ax6000 threads before taking the final decision.

My opinion: ASUS TX-AX6000 (it is cheaper than these two)
Details: Asus TUF Gaming AX6000 support - #628 by remittor

extra 2 external antenna seems to be for 2.4ghz wifi, since i'm still interested in 2.4 wifi coverage might be interesting.

thank you all for info so far
