Recommendation when using openwrt 25.12.0rc1 on a GL.inet AX-1800.
I discover that their is a higher speed when installing the packages:
- irqbalance
- luci-app-irqbalance
Reboot after installation, then in luci you see services - irqbalance
Click enable below and save and apply.
Because the cpu has 4 cores 
If you want to install uptodate openwrt on the GL.inet Ax-1800:
Goto firmware-selector.openwrt.org
On the right select "25.12.0rc1" (or newer, but not snapshot if you prefer a stable device on long term).
When 25.12.0.rc1 is selected, type in the search field:
GL.inet
Then select in the list "GL.inet GL-AX1800"
Download the FACTORY (FACTORY.UBI) image.
Then disconnect all cables from AX-1800/flint.
Connect the computer where you downloaded the FACTORY.UBI image directly to the lan1 port of the AX-1800, with a ethernet cable.
Press the reset button on the AX-1800 and keep it pressed.
Connect the power wire.
Keep reset button pressed, led goes flashing. When led is constantly on (stop flashing) then release the reset button.
With computer open webbrowser and goto 192.168.1.1 (be sure computer network card has ip 192.168.1.2(or higher then 2) subnet 255.255.255.0 and DNS+gateway 192.168.1.1).
Then the browser loads the AX-1800 Uboot screen, select the FACTORY.UBI image and upload it.
Give the AX-1800 a few minutes.(you can close the webbrowser).
After a few minutes open webbrowser with 192.168.1.1 and you see Luci (openwrt webif).
Only rj-45 connectors are active, you need to enable wifi and network name in configuration.
