btw does this build support 802.11k and 802.11v ? i've tried installing wpad-wolfssl, but the options is just not there to configure 802.11k and 802.11v
New build compiling which will go straight to snapshots folder.
I have put in PBR and WPAD-WOLFSSL in as default.
After this i really need a list from people on what they want in the image as default, but lets not make it a bloaty image.
As for 802.11K and 802.11V they aren't in the wireless firmware being used, the one that has this causes crashes of the remote processor when the Wireless interface is brought down or up.
well i've tried r22589, and pbr still doesn't work, and here's what i found :
- dnsmasq-full not installed; and
- mwan3 kinda messing the routing (after I uninstalled it, now the routing is working)
Will people mind if the image is basic with LUCI installed then you opkg in the packages you need?
I have striped it down slightly and recompiling now same build version give it 2-3 Hours for it to complete.
That works ok for me but I'll probably forget something vital!
Cheers...
well i don't mind with basic or anything,
it's just because u ask earlier, so yeah that's why i suggest to add pbr
sorry if i'm bothering then
No problem bud a new build is up and needs testing I have Full dnsmasq installed. A basic setup with VPN's added.
i'm sorry which version should i try ? i tried r22600 but it dont have pbr and dnsmasq full
R22600 does have dnsmasq full just not pbr as I have removed that.
How is the latest build for everyone???
Any issues.
1 known issue found
- setting Region to World (00) crashes wireless stack untill it is changed to correct region.
Hi, I'l try to check this evening. As you don't mention the 100% fan I assume you've fixed that?
Cheers!
No that is still an issue, even with gl-inets driver it's not working yet.
Thanks a lot - it works really well! I tested this weekend with 3 Flint devices - I had to update uBoot first on two of them - the flashing process before the uBoot update was hanging and never finished. I took the uBoot image at this link to get them to work - https://github.com/gl-inet/uboot-ipq60xx
I have set up one as the router and two as access points for seamless WiFi roaming (with 802.11r), and no issues have been identified.
(note - tested build r22600)
Glad to hear!
I'm also using r22600 and it seems fine, thanks. I am connected via cellular using RM502Q-AE and have working access points on both 2GHz and 5GHz. Only thing I wonder about is ipv6 - the wan6 interface comes up with 'unsupported protocol type' - but I don't know if this is significant.
Cheers!
Thats because i haven't installed ipv6 stuff. If its needed i can make a new build quickly
OK, well sometimes my EE sim only connects with an ipv6 address. I tried searching packages for ipv6 but all were installed - what packages do I need to install for ipv6 please?
No need update to R22622 should do the trick.
I think installing odhcp6c and odhcpd-ipv6only fixed the protocol issue for me.
A newer build has been made.
