GL-AR300M not enough flash space

LOL, did you just try to trick me into thinking you flashed OpenWrt???

:laughing:

No. Presumably you downloaded from the Gl-iNet web site.

@Lada, try here: https://openwrt.org/toh/gl.inet/gl.inet_gl-ar300m#installation

If you obtained the firmware bin from a site other than downloads.openwrt.org it's not official OpenWrt.

@Lada I think you may find more success at the GL-Inet forums, but you can also just attempt to load the firmware yourself, here's a link for the latest snapshot, compiled for your use.

AR300M-NOR firmware.

As stated above, we can't speak authoritatively on any of their hardware, but i think we can point you in the right direction.

Specifically, pay attention to the 18 second video. Personally, i say take leap to regular OpenWRT and enjoy a little freedom!

this is from your link

this is from my router. a little different chipset

so it seems that you can't have tor installed directly without filling free space with nor gl.inet firmware, depending on your preferences (gl.inet interface or official openwrt) you can flash official openwrt image or use nand with gl.inet firmware (128mb plenty of space) or use gl.inet image builder to build an image for your specific needs. i'd personally go with official openwrt image as all other useres in thread suggested :slight_smile:
