Firstboot script, restore config possible?

I have a raspberry pi 4 using openwrt. I regularly build new images using the firmware selector and choose all packages I want. However, since I have vlans configured, pppoe and a second usb network card, after each new install, in order to make everything work I have a long list of steps until I can finally access the router, restore a backup file and make everything normal.

Since the flash process in the raspberry pi creates 2 partitions in the sd card, one of them being fat and therefore easy to write without linux, is there a way for the “first boot” script to get and restore a backup file from there after each factory reset?
