now you know.
The same package selection worked fine when compiling a week ago, but now it's throwing an error.
snapshots are a moving target, things break/change.
were you compiling or assembling/building ?
It does not work since a few days. During imagebuilder for x86-64 it get:
Installing packages...
ERROR: unable to select packages:
kmod-nf-log6 (no such package):
required by: world[kmod-nf-log6]
make[2]: *** [Makefile:266: package_install] Error 1
make[1]: *** [Makefile:195: _call_image] Error 2
make: *** [Makefile:383: image] Fehler 2
Both kmod packages exit:
|kmod-nf-log-6.18.55-r1.apk|9.0 KB|Fri Oct 23 12:03:50 2026|
|kmod-nf-log6-6.18.55-r1.apk|0.7 KB|Fri Oct 23 12:03:50 2026|
But sth. is telling the imagebuilder log6 is not there. If i deselect both packages it runs through. Building from scratch for a device its included normally without any build errors.
Do you see this package with the error message in the latest kmod pack ?
I see the package removed: https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/26067.
thank you!
Yeah, it was removed, just ignore/force/remove it at your whim and the next upgrade will banish it forever.
owut upgrade --remove kmod-nf-log6
