So I was attempting to get 802.11r setup, but when I went to install wpad after checking list the available packages list was empty. Is this a problem because of the hardware or did I do something wrong?
need to update the package list 1st, but 18.06.9 is 6 years old, you should have upgraded (hw wise, it would seem) 4 years ago.

Thank you I will try that and I am using the old version because that is the last supported version.
