ECC errors on R8000p

Installing and Using OpenWrt

Hi just solved issues with getting to serial to work on R8000p
But I get a lot of ECC errors and TFTP put to 192.168.1.1 times out.

since this is there, I would assume you need to host a tftp server at the IP above ?

unless the device supports both receiving and getting an image over tftp.

Not sure what you mean.
I tried TFTP from 100>1 and from 1>100 both times timeout

It looks like you have to start tftpd manually on the router. Then the router is a server at .1 and you should use a client to push the file to it.

Note this poster said server for the PC when they meant client.

Most Netgear models have pushbutton activated recovery of some sort either nmrp or tftp.
