EAP225 Outdoor V1 FW 5.2.3 cliclientd invalid command!

Hi,

My EAP225-Outdoor V1 has FW 5.2.3, i already reset it to default, enter cli, but when i type cliclientd stopcs i get an error saying invalid command.

I already typed help to see the list of available commands and i dont se cliclientd anywhere, i also typed enable for the advance commands but all i get are show commands.

I was following the instructions on the OpenWRT site https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/eap225 but im stuck, at the disable signature part, also i cant cli with the command on the guide, i can cli using ssh root@10.0.5.2 just fine, after that i get asked for my pass and i get in, but i cant use the command on the site.

U mean i should downgrade to that to be able to flash openwrt? If thats the case i have a question, look at this

it says i cannot downgrade to anything lower after upgrading to 5.2.x, so is it safe to downgrade to 5.0.3?

No idea, you upgraded, now get it back

Other option would be to play around sandbox shell and figure out what is the new command to disable downgrade protection or signature check.

You have to be inventive
like
