Dual and/or Tri band Routers that support 802.11s / Mesh Point

Hello.

I'm having a heck of a time trying to clearly identify a current router brand that's supported by LEDE (stable or dev ) and fully supports 802.11s/Mesh. I'd prefer Tri band routers to have a backhaul link, but I suppose I could live with out.

Recommendations?

Hello,

You don't need a router with multiple radios to run it in a mesh configuration. OpenWRT can manage multiple networks with one radio. For 802.11s specifically, see here:

That being said, I have not found very many devices with multiple radios myself, if you find any let me know. :slight_smile:
