Good afternoon, everyone. Firstly, I would like to congratulate all the developers and this community for their work. I'm new here and I have some questions regarding the SFT+ port on the Asus AX89X. I read about the developers' work on the following link: Add support for ASUS RT-AX89X AX6000.
I have a few doubts regarding the SFT+ port:
- If I purchase an 'xPON SFP ONU MAC, PPPoE, DDM PON module, 1490, 1330nm, 1.25Gbps, 802.3Ah' (considering that the ONT is 20km 1490), will it work without installing OpenWrt, or will I face limitations due to using the Asus system?
- With OpenWrt, when the SFP management becomes available, will it change to the OpenWrt system, or will I only need to reconfigure the system while keeping the xPON board that I acquired?
