DIR-878 5GHz Wifi not detected

Dlink Dir-878 A1

is you LAN and WAN address's correct ?

Yes lan, wan, wan6 has the same mac address

they should be different in the last digit & match the sticker on the bottom

lan has the exact same mac address as the sticker, and wan, wan6 has the same but different last digit

some of the flash is ok then but the radios should be the same but the last digit

wlan0 and wlan1 does not have the same as the other devices, dont know if thats the same or not

ether way I'm not sure what you can do
you cant recreate the calibration data with out the factory tools & equipment
the best you can do is try another unit's calibration data & hope it's close

backup what you have & compare it to another units data

maybe this is stupid, but as the wiifi chips are the same for both bands, and that you probably have 2 antennas for 2.4Ghz, and 2 antennas for 5Ghz, how can we be sure that radio0 is for 2.4Ghz and radio1 for 5Ghz ? unless your antennas are dual bands ?
in the radio0 settings, can you switch the bands from 2.4ghz to 5 Ghz ?

Nope, the max is 2472Mhz

it's a 4x4 & 4x4 radios
but the MAC address's are bad & stored in the calibration data
tho it knows it's a 7615 & that is next to the mac addresses as well

ok, then are both country codes are set to the same country ?

If i try to switch back to original firmware then upgrade it back to openwrt, will that do anything by any chance?

you can try & check the mac addreses in the oem firmware

nope the radio0 is set to driver default

then set it to ID like the other one, save + save and apply.

okay, imma try that

i read in another topic that all radios have to be set with the same country code.

and nope it did nothing
