DIR-3060 A1 missing factory image

Hi there, I'm new to this, I have an old DIR-3060 A1 in my possesion and trying to revive it with openwrt. Unfortunately the links to factory image in the https://openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir-3060_a1 is broken? Can somebody help me with this? the link is https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/24.10.2/targets/ramips/mt7621/openwrt-24.10.2-ramips-mt7621-dlink_dir-3060-a1-squashfs-factory.bin is 404 not found.

Thanks in advance

Documentation about this device is rather limited, but I don't think there is a factory image (nor needs to be). The recovery image (https://mirror-03.infra.openwrt.org/releases/24.10.4/targets/ramips/mt7621/openwrt-24.10.4-ramips-mt7621-dlink_dir-3060-a1-squashfs-recovery.bin) appears to be the choice for flashing from the bootloader's recovery webinterface.

Disclaimer: I don't own this device, nor have any personal experience with it.

Sounds tempting and risky at the same time.. hehe.. so i flash the recovery then the sysupgrade?

from git-commit

Flash instructions:
OpenWrt can be installed via D-Link Recovery GUI:

Push and hold reset button (on the bottom of the device) until power led starts flashing (about 10 secs or so) while plugging in the power cable.
Give it ~30 seconds, to boot the recovery mode GUI
Connect your client computer to LAN1 of the device
Set your client IP address manually to 192.168.0.2 / 255.255.255.0.
Call the recovery page for the device at http://192.168.0.1/
Use the provided emergency web GUI to upload and flash a new firmware to the device

Every re-programming is risky, you can practice flashing few times with OEM FW..... You learn timings and blink sequence....

Thanks for the reply.. which bin should i use? the recovery bin or the sysupgrade?

https://openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir-3060_a1 - if you roll over the links they read "factory" and link to sysupgrade file, so use sysupgrade file.

wow what a learning curve.. i used the recovery.bin on the dlink gui recovery mode.. the sysupgrade was not a success.. successfully install the recovery and successfully do the sysupgrade to 24.10.4.. downgrading back to the oem firmware however is an adventure on itself.. haha.. i learned that dir-3060 firmware had to be decrypted to be restored back in the dlink gui recovery mode.. I want to thanks this youtube guide to decrypt back the oem firmware https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M31hT9tR3j0 i would be lost without this guide since most of the documentation on decrypting the firmware had gone... haha.. anyway.. many thanks for the support..

Documentation is lacking proper steps (should be 2-step as above)
@yem.sno pleae keep this up until docs are adjusted.
