DFS channels and 160mhz with country code IN

Has anyone been able to run DFS channels and 5ghz WiFi @ 160mhz with country code India?

Kindly let me know your device and configuration if possible.

Try to find informations. I have found this, can't tell if it's reliable or not.

India has broken DFS in upstream regdb. Along with Guyana (cc:GY) - you have DFS channels but no DFS method specified.

So that means DFS won’t work at all.. right?

Yes, and no 160MHz channels for you....
Patch introducing glitch

Workaround to allow acs at all without resorting to patches is to add following to 5GHz radio section in /etc/config/wireless

option acs_exclude_dfs 1

Yes ai do know about this but wasn’t able to get to the root of the problem, most online resources are mostly speculation.

Is there any way to resolve this, any ongoing commit?

One is to patch away DFS channels in OpenWrt for both affected countries, other is to ask your own regulatory authority to clarify is it FCC or ETSI or JP DFS assumed.

Also might help to proofread Hindi original regulatory text whether missing bits are there. Either way good luck.
