Device broken?

Hi all

I am having problems with connecting to a WiFi network and I suspect my device might be broken.
I did a factory reset and just tried to connect one of the radios to my WiFi without changing any settings.
In Luci I see the connection to the network switching between two states, see screenshots:

Did I do something very basic wrong or is the hardware broken?

Thanks for your support!

Check the system log for wifi errors. A common issue is having the wrong encryption mode or key will cause a repeated incomplete connection.

Thanks for the comment mk24.
I looked at the logs but it did not help me to find the culprit.
Do you have any idea maybe?

This is indeed a problem at the stage of the connection where encryption is negotiated, but it is not clear exactly why.

Again confirm the key is correct and the WPA mode matches.

Thanks a lot for your help and indicating (again ) where to look.
I actually used the wrong key... can't explain why i mixed this up... quite embarrassing :dotted_line_face:
