Designing MTK OpenWrt based Router + xDSL support

Hi,

I'm curious to know, is it possible to add xDSL components to an existing design and make it work?

Here is the idea:
MTK7621 --> AFE --> xDSL Line Driver

is it correct?
if yes, which AFE and xDSL line driver will have OpenWRT support?

The only xDSL with OpenWrt support is the MaxLinear (formerly Intel resp. Lantiq) XWAY VRX268 (e.g as found in the BT Home Hub 5 Type A) and maybe some of its predecessors.
