How do I find the hardware specifications for this router, without opening the case?
It's very similar to D-Link DIR-X1560 EXO AX AX1500 Wi-Fi 6..

Will there ever be an openwrt version for this router?

This one is very similar.. but it's black and got 4 lan ports..

While the SOC has no readable markings, both wireless cards are realtek - which already is an instant disqualification in itself and strongly suggests that the SOC itself is also realtek (and usually implies that flash/ RAM are also very 'budget oriented').

EDIT:

No, Broadcom is not similar to Realtek, even if both imply no support (very explicit in the case of Broadcom).
