I've been updating this wiki page for the past few weeks. This afternoon I went to work on it and many of the changes I made yesterday have disappeared. Specifically, the page appears to have reverted back to a point in the middle of yesterday. The worst part of this problem is that it appears that I'm locked out by someone else editing the page. Can someone please have a look at this? Thanks.
There was a previous announcement about updates to the wiki software. That may be what caused your issue and I believe the update/upgrade may still be in progress.
FYI, @aparcar did some work to the server last night. He announced this on the Adm and Devel mailing list.
There's other issues (see: New Wiki Site Certificate - wrong config?), I've emailed him on the devel list (he requested to sent concerns to Adm, but I'm not a member).
Hi all,
Instead of upgrading just the wiki, I decided to replace the VM by a faster setup including newer PHP versions, an NVME and much more.
This took a bit longer than expected due to the nature of dependency tracking of Dokuwiki plugins, but a curious experience compared to JavaScript package managers?
Please report on issues and problems, ideally only to the openwrt-adm list.
Thanks everyone for using OpenWrt!
Best,
Should all work again, please report issues.
Just checked. Still missing about a half day of edits, and if I try to make a change indicates that a newer version exists.
The old wiki was meant to be in "read-only" mode while I copied things but it seems that never worked. Right now both wikis are somewhat out of sync for a few articles. Could you please do me a huge favor and migrate those 5 articles from the old wiki to the new?
Here is a list of changes:
The wiki-01 certificate will give you a warning but it will work nonetheless.
Thank you very much!
Whoa, are you saying those are now 2 different servers?
No, the old server that is about to be shut down and the new server
Correct, my inquiry is:
Is/was it possible for a user to be making edits on wiki-01.infra and they not appear on the new server?
(I think that sounds close to the issue the OP may be experiencing.)
Yes that's possible, it the old server that is still running and we're migrating the infrastructure.
Now that I understand what has happened and you’ve pointed me to the page on the old server containing the missing changes, I’d be more than happy to transpose them to the new server. You all have enough to do without having to fix this, and it’s no trouble for me, as I’m still working on the page.
Will not proceed until I get a go-ahead from you, as I don’t want to make things worse. Thanks to everyone.
@aparcar https://openwrt.org/toh/asus/wl-500gp seems to be having problems (Error: Call to undefined function xml_parser_create()
).
EDIT: Same with https://openwrt.org/_detail/media/tplink/tl-wr940/tl-wr940n-v10.jpg?id=toh%3Atp-link%3Atl-wr941nd, https://openwrt.org/_detail/media/tplink/tl-wr941/tl-wr941nd-v5.1.jpg?id=toh%3Atp-link%3Atl-wr941nd and https://openwrt.org/_detail/media/tplink/tl-wr941/tl-wr941nd-v3_serial.jpg?id=toh%3Atp-link%3Atl-wr941nd.
@aparcar I've overridden the lock on the D-Link DIR-885L page and have copied all of the missing edits from the old server, so I'm good to go. I'll start transposing the missing bit shortly. No further action required on your part. Again, many thanks to everyone.
