Cudy AP3000 as a router w/ OpenWrt?

Hello i found a Cudy AP3000 router V1 & its compatible with latest version as shown in hardware list, i have attached the serial# its a EU model, since u have the better experience and so i dont brick this one also  is it a straight forward flash file, like upload the openwrt firmware directly in the router firmware (update section) or i should use commands from outside etc.... can you double check the compability with latest version and if all will go ok?

Well, it's an Access Point, not a router.
It has got only 1 Ethernet port. If you want to use it as an AP, it's a good choice. But for a router...i would look for something with at least one more port.

Ur right, Sorry im confused, i have a WAN cable from my local isp, i dont need LAN options as all my devices are wireless, i sign in using PPEOE username passwordz will it work?

It will, with some additional config.

It should be possible to make it work like that, but not out-of-the-box.
Because of the single ethernet port, this will be by default the LAN port. So you do need a PC or NB with an ethernet port to connect it. Then you could set up wi-fi for your local devices and further access (configuration). After this the ethernet port must be set up for WAN instead of LAN.
Do you think you can do this?

Edit:
You need a signed OpenWrt from Cudy before installing official OpenWrt image. I don't know if this is available for all their models.

Seems a headache il search for another router brands then, good u highlighted the issue... how can i filter the hardware table to see which router is open for direct GUI openwrt firmware upload without commands and extra job? Preferably TPLink as its mostly avaialble in the country,

You can't, but most Cudys and gl.inets are simple to install.

AFAIK they can't.

There are AP3000 references, but I'm not sure it's the exact model we are talking here.
