Changing from 2.4ghz to 5ghz wifi band in existing wireless bridge (Relayd)

Hi,

I have setup an Archer C7 V2 with 22.03.0 as a wifi bridge using relayd. During setup i mistakenly chose to use the 2.4ghz wifi band and although everything went smoothly I was thinking about changing it to the 5ghz band now for improved speed.

I just wanted to check here if there was a set procedure for doing this before i start mucking up with my working setup or if i should just adapt some of the steps from here

Cheers

Just replicate the SSID setting on the 5 GHz radio. It won't bother the 2.4 GHz setting.

Relay doesn't care if you use 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wifis. So just setup the 5GHz wifi in the same way that you have already done for the 2.4 GHz. Of course you need to change the channel. Set a low channel (36-52) or auto for better compatibility with DFS.
