Can't connect to HotSpot (WPA2-Enterprise with TTLS and MSCHAPV2)

Hello Guys,

I'm using a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND v1 with OpenWrt 19.07.0 r10860. I would like to connect to a provider Hotspot wich is using "WPA2-Enterprise with TTLS and MSCHAPV2".

The problem is, that the "Wireless Scan" shows me that the HotSport ist encrypted with "WPA2 802.1X (TKIP, CCMP)". When i click "Join Network" it asks me for the WPA passphrase (this is not needed for the hotsport).

... bevore i tryed to connect, i deleted "wpad-mini" and installed "wpad". I don't think, that there is any more needed to connect to an WPA2-Enterprise Spot?!

At the same time im using an "TP-Link TL-WA901N/ND v5"
This device shows me that the Encryption of the same Hotspot ist "WPA2 - 802.1X".
When i click on "Join Network" i don't geht any key Question.

Later in on the next site i can type in the Enterprise settings, uplad the certificate and all works fine.

Do anyone has an idea waht is wrong with my TL-WR1043ND v1?

Tanks a lot guys...

The TL-WR1043ND v1 is very early draft-n silicion (AR9132), which is plagued by quite a few hardware quirks and bugs. You may have to enable nohwcrypt for ath9k to mitigate that a bit, but the hardware is …problematic.
