Can we have amazon basic router support with openwrt

Can this router be supported with openwrt it have a mediatek chipset so i hope this is comparable with openwrt.
They have said that it supports multiple OS.

buy one and open it up, and we'll tell you, until it happens, who knows.
support is very unlikely, IMHO, probably a low end device, RAM and flash wise.

client OS, not router OS.

MT7621, 16MB flash, 128MB RAM. At least one Amazon review alluded to it shipping with OpenWrt though like most such routers I'm sure it's an older version (CC or similar).
