Folks I have a HH5 but would like to upgrade as its currently running 19.07.3 r11063.
Problem is I CAN login using SSH but same password when used in the web interface results in going nowhere. I enter root as the user and the same password as logging in with ssh but when i press login,the password box clears and cursor is prompting me to input again.
Any help appreciated

Try to clear cookies/ site data or use your browser's incognito mode first, there might be stale authentification data or stored forwardings.

Especially http redirects can be nasty, not visible in the router but persistent.
