Broadcom 4360 supposedly has partly working drivers but I cant get it to work

Ok so I fully realize that most Broadcom wifi chips have no support here, or very little, however for some 2.4g broadcom chips like my 4360, it is stated on many openwrt pages (including my ac68u toh page) that it has partial support meaning that wireless A and N mode won't work but wireless G mode will work. https://openwrt.org/unsupported/wifi_2.4ghz_partly Thats all I need! https://openwrt.org/docs/techref/hardware/soc/soc.broadcom.bcm47xx#b43

Right now I use an older printer that has Wifi connection using wireless G or B only. In order to use that printer with wifi I have to use a really old netgear wgr614-v8 router hooked up behind my ac68u and I use this really old netgear router strictly as an access point for this single printer. I would LOVE to get my ac68u's wifi working in wireless G mode so I could rid myself of this old netgear router but I cant seem to get it working. my ac68u behaves as though it is a strictly wired router with no wifi at all.

right now my main network router is an ASUS RT-AC68U https://openwrt.org/toh/asus/rt-ac68u?s[]=ac68u

some info: the ac68u has a 2.4g wifi chip names Broadcom 4360 and according to openwrt kernel log it is revision 42. I dont know if that matters.

here is kernel log

If anyone needs more info or logs please let me know.

Steps I have taken to try and get partial wifi working are as follows, I have installed the b43 driver and related packages, the b43legacy driver, the b34602a1 driver, played with softmac and fullmac packages to my hearts content but nothing as of yet has provided me with a wireless setup page or anything indicating a partial working wifi system. I have also done extensive searching on this forum as well as start.duckduckgo.com and while there are a few hits on both, none have yeilded me any bearable fruit.

Game Over.
b43 would have been your only 'option', but it detects your PHY as unsupported.

It's incorrect, BCM4360 is not supported.

If RT-AC68U truly uses BCM4360 for 2.4 GHz then it's not supported at all.

If it is not supported consider using another third party firmware?
