Bricked Teltonika RUT955

Hi all,

Decided to switch to OpenWrt as the Teltonika firmware is buggy as hell.

Followed these instructions:

Used the URL for the factory image from here:

https://openwrt.org/toh/teltonika/rut955

root@LeTruckRouter:/# sysupgrade -F https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/23.05
.0/targets/ath79/generic/openwrt-23.05.0-ath79-generic-teltonika_rut955-squashfs
-factory.bin
Downloading 'https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/23.05.0/targets/ath79/generic/openwrt-23.05.0-ath79-generic-teltonika_rut955-squashfs-factory.bin'

Terminal downloaded the image and proceeded with the install (bypassing the checksum checks).

But now the router doesn't seem to be doing anything. I have connected ethernet and 192.168.1.1 is not addressable. I am not being assigned an IP.

What should my next steps be?!

Any help gratefully received!

Cheers,

Nathan

Update!

All OK, I had my ethernet connected to the WAN port (as I'd set it as a LAN port on my previous setup).

All sorted.
