Block the access on internet with Zyxel gs1920

Hi, I have an issue about security on my switch Zyxel gs1920

Anyone of u know how to block the access to internet for a device linked to this switch? I don't really know which settings i should change. I have already blocked the access on my router for a device, I've a whitelist where i put only the MAC address that i wanna link on internet. But obv when I use the cable, the device connect to the web. How can I do it?

you sure you want to do this ?

switches are bad at routing, and by default, there's no WAN (I would assume).
without a WAN, the traffic doesn't pass any firewall, where it could be blocked.

No, the problem is that i MUST link my device to the switch with a cable :frowning: , I only wanna disable the device for the navigation on internet (the router is already disabled to the navigation with a whitelist where there are only the mac address of the devices that can use internet)

You can choose whether it is 50Mbps slow or 50Mbps fast. And dont type CAPS, nobody here is obliged to help you.

nothing changes with your reply.

to recap:
switches are bad routers, there's no WAN port on them.

a VLAN might work though.

yeah, but: which settings i should change on it to isolate the device linked with the cable?

from internet ?

there isn't one, AFAIK.

Make a separate vlan with ports to connect internet?

Block a device on the internet connected router that is what the router is for
