Best WiFi configuration for indoor roaming

Hi all

My house is on three floors, and I have an access point 2.4/5Ghz in each floor currently separated in different SSID (inluding 2.4 and 5 Ghz) and channels

My andrid phones roam very badly, I basically need to manually switch network eanch time

Would the situation improve if I merge the networks in the same SSID? Shall I also use same channels?

The suggested guideline is to use the same SSID but different channels so that they don't interfere with each other.

Same SSID, different channels. I think that when you have them all on the same SSID, checking the 802.11r box should just work, and improve transitions between access points.

And all have to be in the same Layer-2 Network, with just one DHCP.
