you need to install lm-sensors and collectd-mod-sensors if luci-app-statistics is installed.
Average up/down speed on USB 2.0 = 200 Mbps on USB 3.0 = 600Mbps
I did a test, adapter connected on USB 2.0 at room temp 22°C let it idle for an hour and stress it downloading large files for 30 minutes
You mean the temperature sensor on WiFi dongle supports LM sensor?
You do not have to plug that "dumb" AP directly to your Raspberry Pi, simply plug it into your switch and you are done. Here I assume you have a switch with POE, if not you can buy a POE injector (power supply with a ethernet connector). U6 Lite is the cheapest model. I am sure you will find it at a discount then I think it now have been superseded by the U6+ model.
Could you please explain how to set the u6 in the switch? Or is like just plug and play? I am a novice here trying to get a decent wifi connection from my Rpi4 running OpenWrt 23.05.0. is it necessary a PoE+ port in the switch or PoE is enough?
