An update on this, I've been on
r19616-98bb26f9f7 for a while now and yikes.
The issue has been happening nearly every day.
I decided as a test to switch my 5GHz interface
from:
WPA2-PSK/WPA3-SAE Mixed Mode
to:
WPA2-PSK only
And to my surprise the rate at which the 5GHz interface dies is much much faster.
It regularly disappears within hours now rather than days.
Relevant context:
Mode AX, Channel 124, Width 160MHz, Default Driver Max Transmit Power
Isolate clients on
My 2.4GHz interface is completely disabled; I do not use it. The few times I have it on the issue only affects the 5GHz interface, the 2.4GHz one does not experience these issues.
When bugged out, Luci shows
MediaTek MT7915E 802.11nacax
Channel: 124 (5.620 GHz) | Bitrate: ? Mbit/s
in the Wireless section
Here is my dmsg

I also have the logread if needed.
Note: As a next test I am changing exclusively to WPA3 security mode
[59691.958173] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): wlan1: link becomes ready
This appears on change and the interface is restored without needing to reboot the router.
I am wondering if it is normal operation that
[59626.940986] device wlan1 entered promiscuous mode
occurs so much
Or if my issue is with IPv6 this whole time. I'll be careful not to test two things at once.
