Attended Sysupgrade 24.10.5 Rpi4 build wrong kernel

Hi,

I have upgraded to 24.10.5 using Attended Sysupgrade and also re-upgraded using the command line version but the raspberry pi 4 build while showing 6.6.119 kernel on the status screen is installing with 6.6.110. Hence all the kmod packages are showing as upgrades in package manager, but will not upgrade due to a kernel compatibility error, as its expecting .116. The running kmods are all .110 versions which tie back to the current installed and running kernel version.

I’m assuming that there is something wrong with the raspberry pi 4 build on the build servers hence the upgrade is not at the expected kernel version, shown in the changelog.

But I do not know how to fix it or how to get the server looked at?

Any help appreciated… Thanks,

Paul

I don't think this is an issue with the image builder/ASU server.

Something similar happened here. While it never got a response, see the last comment in that thread -- run that test and see what is actually running on your system.

Also...

Upgrading packages (via the CLI opkg upgrade command or the LuCI Upgrade... button) can result in major problems. It is generally highly discouraged, unless you know what you are doing or if there is specific instruction to do so.
