Ath79/nand no uhttpd?

Hi There,

for GL-XE300 I managed to install snapshot (no documentation there that I need to use uboot, who can update the wiki?).
Then uhttpd was missing.
Then I tried release version.

Then I see
https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/23.05.2/targets/ath79/nand/packages/

there is no uhttpd

Why that?

BR, Frood

PS: It feels like this is the same as

If you installed a snapshot, default builds do not include uhttp. You must include it from your own (custom build or adding package).

It is there for 23.05
https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/packages-23.05/mips_24kc/base/uhttpd_2023-06-25-34a8a74d-2_mips_24kc.ipk

ok..... have you had the chance to read my question?

Yes. You are just looking at the wrong directory.

Yes, which packages belong to this

https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/23.05.2/targets/ath79/nand/packages/

and which belong here
https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/packages-23.05/mipsel_24kc/

?

They both applied to your device.

https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/23.05.2/targets/ath79/nand/packages/
are packages created alongside the openwrt release. They stick to the kernel version.

https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/packages-23.05/mipsel_24kc/
are packages created regularly.
Check the timestamps.

Mips_24kc, not mipsel_24kc for all ath79 subtargets, I think.

The target dir contains kernel related packages and other packages marked to be built exactly for the target,
Packages dir contains most vanilla packages that can be shared with other similar targets/subtargets.

Uhttpd is here
