Archer C7 v5 OpenWRT flashing bricks the device everytime

Hello, I've tried installing OpenWRT via the wiki methods (both TFTP and via the GUI) and when the router reboots I only get the power light and the light of the lan ports being used.

Connecting to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 does nothing though.

Am I missing something?

Using TFTP to restore stock firmware still works though, thankfully.

that sounds kind of normal.

connecting how ?

what image did you use ?
did you change the IP back to DHCP after hosting the TFTP ?

maybe you need to flash it via a switch

OP was probably just expecting wifi ...
