I have this modem but I couldnt figure out whether it supports OpenWRT or not. If it does support it, I also couldnt understand how to install it. I would be very grateful if you could help.
This device does not appear to be supported by OpenWrt. As you can see, the C5 is supported, but the "V" variant is not.
Looking at TP-Link's website, I'm guessing the "V" is for "voice" or "VOIP", and the case design is very significantly different. It's anybody's guess if the C5V is supportable, but if you'd like to start investigating, follow this guide:
