This is for debricking, serial flash with CH341A.

Hi, I was able to recover my C2 1.1 with a CH341A and your image. Thanks so much! However, I couldn't get from your Russian stock fw to OpenWRT after that. Tried with TFTP, the router would download ArcherC2V1_tp_recovery.bin (https://github.com/orangepizza/openwrt/releases/tag/19.07.1) and then brick once again.

I have now left this router with Russian stock fw, not so hard to configure with Google Translate.

Maybe you are doing it wrong?

The recovery image from here is for tftp flash directly. You do not need to do Creating an OpenWrt TFTP recovery image in the wiki

If you stuck with Russian firmware, you can flash other language firmware from official download

mtd6 ~ mtd8 only available in flash dump, if you lost these, wifi won't work, would see mac address ff:ff

If I try to flash the latest US stock image downloaded from TP-Link, I get error 4503 Invalid image on the C2 admin webpage.

Regarding TFTP, I know the orangepizza image is prepared for direct TFTP upload. I am familiar with the process, been dealing with this kind of stuff for many years now.
