Hello. I'm unable to flash my Archer A7 back to OEM. I have followed every recommendation on this forum, the openwrt website, the dd-wrt website, and the tp-link website. This includes the directions for flashing from a bricked router. Stupid question, is there a reason I can't flash from the open wrt ui on the router for flashing a new firmware image? I use a similar link on the TPlink firmware before I flashed to open wrt?
I'm flashed to the latest version openwrt. Now just trying to get back to the starting point. The reason is the issue w/ router speed and stability that I have seen other reports. I wish I would have researched more before I flashed. Thanks
Upon further investigation into the log, i'm getting a file transfer failed. This is on a iMAC. I can't find more details on the failure. Any help is appreciated.
It appears to be timing out for some reason. I get closest on a Mac, two different windows machines don't make it this far..
