yes you do
What's what the dummies link told you.
Again, start reading the info you've been given.
Are you trying to make this work or not?
Bro am do the best if i know i will do it really but i don't
You do know, you pm'ed me asking what command prompt was and then you asked if you needed to open command prompt on the laptop then you FORGOT WHAT TO DO????
I give up, have fun beeing the baby bird feeder, @LilRedDog.
One more intentionally obtuse reply and I'm out too.
Wow, had to google that one, guess I learned something new in this thread too, surprise(d).
and this is one of the reasons why I don’t recommend going directly from QWRT, even tho it is based on openwrt/qsdk.
As long as it doesn’t have an official build from OpenWRT itself, won’t go flashing random snapshot images.
As for me, I build my own images, with my own custom defaults, but that takes much effort, and while I do share my images in other platforms than this forum, I don’t like giving them out to people who don’t have the means (yet) to recover their routers (i.e. having usb ttl, soldering/clipping wires to the serial ports, etc)
Yes, you can flash the 'sysupgrade' directly using the QWRT interface, you don't need to open up the case. I can confirm that it works fine
I think it's simple
as much as I want to help you, given how you are selectively reading this thread, the steps to recover your router/modem is already posted way above in this thread. that requires a few thing tho and opening the case.
Thanks for that bro
If it has been successfully flashed, check whether there is normal DHCP on the local network connection. If an IP address appears, it is successful. At this point you should access via SSH, connect the WAN port to the Internet, and write to luci web
1.opkg update
2.opkg install luci
3./etc/init.d/uhttpd enable
4./etc/init.d/uhttpd start
The firmware is not embedded with luci, which will cause the illusion of "unusable"
Im having a error upgrading the sysupgrade can someone please help.
This is from the uart after i do the last command which is sysupgrade -n /tmp/sysupgrade.bin
