Found one of these at a thrift store for a few bucks, decided to play with it and see if I could try to install OpenWRT or really any firmware on it. No luck with that, though it seems to be similar in specs to a TP-link Archer C7. It's a wireless repeater by the now defunct Amped Wireless company, which doesn't help in finding information. There were only two revisions of the official firmware as far as I can tell. Seems to reboot automatically every few hours with the original firmware so that's why it was thrown out I suppose. It uses openwrt's time servers in its default configuration, go figure. Anyways, posting what I've figured out so far and to see if anyone has any suggestions as to what to try next.
Turning on logs gives some information
