Adding OpenWrt support for Xiaomi AX3600 (Part 1)

No, it just means that it will only look at the FW provided rules and not care if there are stricter rules in regdb

I there i did flash with sucess the openwrt bu missing some options im trying to use the route as dumb ap of my main router mikrotik and use some vlan's from the mikrotik router in ssid is it possible

Good afternoon, did you earn a DL-MUMO with these values?

I can't say. This is only the information I get searching. I've not done any test.

As we have seen, the rules in the BDF are "strickt" enough  There are still no news about the ath11k option that allows to use the official regdb and not the BDF for ipq807x?

I doubt we will ever see that

Someone asked if your image can work with VLAN+PPPoE? I would say it can, but I never tried.

I think I used PPoE with VLAN-s way back in 2021, but I cannot be sure

could someone, with a fiber line, post a picture of HTOP during a speedtest on this device please ??

Hello guys, I tried via VLAN, I added VLAN to the WAN port, created an interface with the PPPoE type, at the expense of speed it rests on a 300 Mbps channel from the junction with the provider.

I did some WAN<->WiredLAN tests here:

WiredLAN <-> WiredLAN speed/cpu load tests:

I installed onto an AX3600 image from https://github.com/robimarko/openwrt/releases. So far so good. I have two questions. First is if this image contains firmware blobs needed for hardware accelerations or should I add other files, to support it, and second is what HW acceleration is supported in this firmware.

Thank You

I really don't know what is done or what can be done.
Only the developers can say.

Answer to both questions is no

I am running the latest firmware (OpenWrt SNAPSHOT r0-9d6aeb8) with my AX6 router. Sometimes when I run a speed test it maxes out at around 100mbps and suddenly I completely lose my connection to the router. I have to restart my AX6 to have it run at full speeds (940 mbps- 950mpbs) again. Has anyone encountered this problem before? The router has packet steering on, software offload and hardware offload on. I tried disabling all of those features but the same issue shows up.

How did you enable hardware offload? It's not support currently, just enable packet streeting and set the CPU to performance mode.
Again, don't enable any HW offload. ( I didn't try SW Offload before)

How did you set the cpu to performance mode?

From bitthief post: Adding OpenWrt support for Xiaomi AX3600 - #5793 by bitthief

BTW: there is a Luci plugin from the Chinese maintainer to switch CPU mode easily: luci/applications/luci-app-cpufreq at master ยท immortalwrt/luci (github.com)

Have no such issues with my AX6, latest image. Enable packet steering and SW offload and try with that.
