I used this to connect to the serial port https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WX2DSVB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. I didn't solder the header I just placed it on top and made sure I had good contact to the to the solder points, I was kinda in a hurry at the time and wanted to see if I could do it without the headache of soldering.

Does anyone know what drivers are needed to make it work? What is working and what isnt?
My understanding is that this is identical to the MR52 which there is a working OpenWRT image for. The only difference is the onboard switch, which has 2.5G ethernet. From @clayface above it looks like you need a driver for something like
" The device type you want to look for is ipq806x_ap160_2xx . There are several devices with this qca8511/aq105 combo."
