Please add brand: Genexis
Which Genexis devices are supported by OpenWrt?
Most of them, but it is running a fork of OpenWRT now, want to add the brand so I can add to ToH to get support for OpenWRT to run on them.
So, to be clear: While they run some sort of OpenWrt, none of them are supported by OpenWrt. Yet.
That's putting the cart before the horse. OpenWrt support does not emerge from a ToH entry.
Why not open a thread in the development section and outline your work on the device(s)?
Same kind of discussion, and misunderstanding, took place in Adding MT7628DAN SoC Board to OpenWrt Hardware Support List.
Again, the brand was missing from the list when i wanted to add the device so i could put the device information up, and pictures, bootlog etc.
I am well aware that support for OpenWRT doesn't come from a ToH entry.
The brand Inteno is already there and Inteno is now Genexis for the past few years, models have been branded that.
No offense was meant. It happens from time to time that people register for the forum just to, in their first post, directly or indirectly by casually pointing in the general direction, request the developers to add support for a device. Glad to see that's not you.
Maybe go ahead without the ToH entry? A ToH/techdata/brand entry is not a prerequisite to create a device page, that can still be supplemented later.
and whatever you post can easily be migrated from a thread to the ToH.
