Add support for Xiaomi AX1800 Wifi 6 router

What's up with your df!? The output is mega strange...
It's stock firmware?
Try ubiformat/uboot.

Sysupgrade image:

nope, using openwrt that i compile myself using sdf8057/ipq6000

flashing the firmware directly using uboot only get bootloop, how to use Sysupgrade image? never use it before, just flash directly?

yup, i have, but xqflash still saying that the bin file too large, very weird

i can flash chinese openwrt with size near 28MB

also, the ax5-raw-img.7z seems cannot be flash using uboot

Does anyone know which sources work to get htop, wireguard and adblock onto the device?

The original sources are

after several days trying, finally i able to boot using this rom,

the issue is, the ip after flasing this rom is 192.168.31.1, not 192.168.1.1
.and the rom is miwifi with russian language

how stable is it? can you show me the ram and disk usage.

the ui is just normal miwifi with russian language, and seems no other langusge install, so i didnt explore further

currently i back to normal openwrt

oh so its not vanila openwrt :frowning:

i guess yes

since you on 4pda, try asking the owner to upload some picture for that firmware

Uart finally came to me. I hope I can debrick my device (after flashing the wrong uboot (I have a large collection of jokes for xiaomi xD)) and test everything that I found from the Chinese.

I tried asking oleg_phoenix before in direct message. But he wont respond.

Hi!

I'm doing tests with the router and I can't flash with sysupgrade, giving this error:

root@XiaoQiang:/tmp# sysupgrade -v /tmp/openwrt-ipq60xx-generic-xiaomi_rm1800-squashfs-nand-sysupgrade.bin
Device ap-cp03-c1 not supported by this image
Supported devices: xiaomi,rm1800
Image check 'fwtool_check_image' failed.

I have downloaded the firmware from here, to later compile my own:

I understand that you have to force it, with the -F parameter. Has anyone tried it? I don't want to stay with the useless router.

Thank you

if you coming from miwifi firmware, use Flash OpenWrt (without WiFi) method that posted by janeblower

and flash the ubi file from the release page, that work for me

or if you want to use openwrt as permanent firmware, use Flash uboot & mibib method posted by same user

but please be caution, you posibly brick or cannot go back to miwifi firmware after flashing openwrt because there no official support for this router

The problem is that I don't see where to download the files AX5_MIBIB.bin and AX5_UBoot.bin

Do you have any link?

Thank you

if you know russian, try 4pda forum, https://4pda.to/forum/index.php?showtopic=995699

or just dm janeblower

Sorry for not being able to read the entire topic. Can someone please tell me if there is an OpenWrt ROM available for the domestic Chinese version of AX1800 at this moment? I searched on the official website but only found the global version of AX1800. Can these two routers share the same ROM? Currently, I am using the stock ROM and experiencing frequent disconnections
