Hello, I have a JD Cloud Taiyi router. Can I add it to OpenWRT's device library?

Processor: Qualcomm IPQ6010 4-core 1.8GHz A53
Network Acceleration Engine: Independent 1.5GHz NPU
Memory: 2GB DDR4 memory+8GB eMMC
Network interface: 4 10/100/1000M network ports (1WAN+3LAN)
Expansion interface: 1 USB 3.0 interface
Indicator light: 3-color status indicator
Reset button: 1
Power interface: 12V-2A
Management method: APP、Web

The SOC would be supportable, the rest is yours for the taking.

I want to know, will this device be supported? It would be good if you could join the device library. Now many people are using this device, especially the side route, which is very convenient.

I am a newcomer, can you guide me? I don't quite understand how to do it, but I am very interested in network settings.

When someone who owns one does the work required to get it supported, it will be.

Can you guide me in what kind of work?

that would be the link @slh posted.

It's very bad. I don't know anything about this. I really hope someone can help me deal with it.

problem is, you own it, no one else does ...

I really hope there is a person who has equipment and can operate it.

I hope the developers can add support for jdcloud_re-cs-07, thank you

Realistically only you can add OpenWrt support for this device.

No one else has the device on their desk, nor a motivation to work on it. There is no one with spare time (which may take between a long rainy weekend and several weeks of work, if it's supportable at all) on their hands waiting for device support request, nor any budget to go out and buy random stuff, just because someone requested support for it. Accordingly most device support is developed by irregular- or one-time contributors, who did the work to get their device supported. So either you start the development - or no one else will; or you take the easy route and inform yourself before buying anything and go with something that is already fully supported.

The job is all yours for the taking.

Same device as Add Openwrt support for JD Cloud ER1 Wired Router ?

Yes. I have already got the device. JD Cloud has provide a intermediate openwrt version so there is no problem with SSH. there is plenty of builds of this device from developers from right.com.cn. Looking to migrate to qosmio's NSS build first.

pr #19780 has been merged and hopefully pr #19840 will be soon
