Try the next adblock update 4.4.2-2 (core plus LuCI), I've made the map/reporting more stable.

Hi, I just noticed a minor typo in the "Adblock Config Options" in the readme. The option there for the priority is mentioned as adb_nice insteaad of adb_nicelimit.

I thought the new Maps feature wasn't working for me..

That's when I realized.. hmmm.. maybe adblock is blocking the APIs it needs for the geoip maps.. and...

So you see the map tiles now?
Please post the output of /etc/init.d/adblock status
also the content of adb_map.jsn in your report directory.

I don't know how to create output and report. Map what I see.

...and what's your issue? All map tiles are loaded and at least one blocked domain from ireland is shown. The map is always a graphical representation of your latest DNS report (only NX Domains are shown).
To get more information regarding the blocked domain click on the red dot.

Hi everyone,
I just updated my router to latest OpenWrt v24.10.1 and (re)installed adblock.
Current adblock version: 4.4.2-r2

I noticed some unexpected changes to adblock:

1. missing option list and list add (specific_list) eg. /etc/init.d/adblock list add openphish phishing_army
2. missing option timer eg. /etc/init.d/adblock timer add reload 07 39
3. /etc/adblock/adblock.blacklist has been replaced with /etc/adblock/adblock.blocklist

Questions:

1. Does anybody know the reason of these changes? Especially 1 and 2 (yes, I do know I can still add/modify these setting manually).
2. Is there any official changelog / website where I can follow progress and changes?

Is there any reason why following 2 option are gone in adblock version: 4.4.2-r2 (latest that "opkg install adblock" offers at the moment).

adblock: release 4.4.0-1

Since adblock 4.4.x it's much easier to add/remove new feeds.

My question is more about the reason of removing it from cli.
To me it was quite convenient to have it there.

If you're alteady on the CLI, than just c&p the desired content to the custom feed file or to the crontab, in adblock we don"t need these convoluted workarounds any longer.
