5GHz drops frequently

I have a TP-Link Archer C2600 running 17.01-SNAPSHOT r3876-efb6ca1.

I have an issue with 5Ghz network. It drops frequently, sometimes a few times a day. It starts from slower and slower transfers and at the end you just can't connect. The logs are mostly clear. There is no input when the network slows down but when you cannot connect there is something like the entries below. The 2.4 Ghz on the other hand is rock solid.

Usually issuing wifi command solves the problem but it's only temporally. I appreciate all advice on how to solve this problem. Thank you for your input.

Have you tried newer images? Like 18.06-snapshot or master snapshot?

Yeah I tried but I couldn't keep it.
The SQM performance with cake was terrible. The fq_codel though, worked great. I don't think 18.06 is ready for prime time yet.

If you've got something tangible on that, with 18.06-RC1 planned for a week from now, your insights would be very timely.

I have 250/20 Mb/s connection.
With SQM and cake on 17.01-SNAPSHOT I am able to get all 250 Mb/s.
With 18.06 I can barely get 135 Mb/s on cake. However I can get 250 Mb/s with fq_codel.
