404 for download stats page

Greetings!

I found out there's a downloads stats page: https://downloads.openwrt.org/stats/. Wanted to check it out. However I currently get 404 from two different networks (home and work).

Not an urgent matter.

So who told you there's a stats page - is there a Wiki link to this information?

Remove the section if stats have been deprecated?...

The download infrastructure was moved to fastly CDN just days ago, which deprecated the stats page.

You can still reach it via https://mirror-02.infra.openwrt.org/stats/ if you ignore the certificate alert.

I don't think that is a good idea, for two reasons:

  • that is just the old server, which will go away very soon (days)
  • the stats are frozen and no longer updated (none of the cdn traffic is counted there)
