1 gig router with PPPoE?

I am looking to replace my APU2 with something that can handle 1 gig with PPPoE. I don't need WiFi as I use separate APs.

I would prefer to keep the power consumption relatively low, for that reason I have been looking at the NanoPi R6S. From what I found, it idles around 2 watts and is 5 watts under load.

However, I haven't found anything to confirm that it would handle 1 gig over PPPoE.

Is it a good choice, or is there something better?

What about the OpenWrt One?

Openwrt One would comfortably handle 1 gig over PPPoE, as does the MT3000, MT2500, MT6000, MR90x.

Oh wow, the MT3000 is so small, and it's mighty! Looks interesting, would be a drop in replacement. Or the MT6000, I could replace a switch and AP with it.

Oh, these look really good. If I find the right one I could replace a 5 port switch with it. This would also future proof for if I want to experiment with segmenting my network.

Cudy TR3000 is the same size, have the same specs, except for flash size.

Cheaper than the MT3000 on some markets.

I recently picked up a TR3000 for half the price of the GL-MT3000.

Definitely a value purchase
