Topic: Apparently I'm not intelligent enough to run shell firmware

I've been trying to make the kamikaze 7.07 firmware work on my on my wrt54g with my DSL and haven't had any success.  I searched for quite a while hoping to find a decent tutorial for reverting back to the stock firmware, and couldn't find any.  Any assistance would be appreciated.  Thanks.

/etc/config/network

#### WAN configuration
config interface wan
        option ifname "eth0.1"
        option proto pppoe
        option username foo
        option password bar
        option keepalive 10
        #option mtu 1492

yeah... I don't really understand how to configure that interface... I've used linux before but then I was used to using pico or some other random txt editor that came with the distro to edit the files...  If possible I'd like to just reflash back to Linksys firmware.  Are there any directions you could give me for that or do I pretty much need to learn...
