Topic: Setting the mac address on the wireless interface

I installed Kamikaze brcm-2.4 03/23/2007 build on my wrt54gs v2 router.  I set the mac addresses for the lan and the wan interfaces.  I tried to set the mac address the same way in the config file as the lan/wan, but it will not change it.  I also flashed a wrt54g and the mac addresses in the wrt54gs and wrt54g are exactly the same for the wifi interface.  I can force it via "ifconfig wl0 hw ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx", but there is no way to set it via config files.

Is this a bug?  If not, how do I set the mac address on the wifi interface.
