this always fails in ralink driver output, maybe because they blindly "enable" something, in our case https://github.com/i80s/mtk-sources/blo … 52.c#L5102

it also fails in openwrt if stick to their code, unless you comment it out: https://github.com/psyborg55/openwrt/bl … b.c#L10579

then it actually works for both chains upon boot if leave amplifier configured as is. reconfiguring wifi settings makes this calibration always fail on chain 1

Hi alex

Is it possible to share the new firmware that you receive ?

thanks

Dear danman, would be possible to share patch and config files to recompile your work with some small changes I wonder to make?

arvati, you can find latest patches here: https://github.com/danielkucera/source/tree/u25awf

Test with only charger cable ...

I accidentally flashed openwrt-ramips-mt7620-u25awf-h1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin.
It should have been: openwrt-ramips-mt7620-u25awf-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

How can I resolve this?

I can connect over SSH to 192.168.1.1.

(Last edited by cariba on 29 Mar 2018, 23:57)

If you can connect with SSH ( 192.168.1.1 )

1 - place a good firmware in a folder with SCP

2 - start SSH

3 - cd in the firmware folder

4 - run -> mtd write "name of the good  firmware" firmware ( firmware for the BS-U25 is mtd3 )
after some minutes you have a prompt if the file transfert is finished

5 - run ->  firstboot -> yes

6 - run -> reboot

Thanks alot F5BJR!

I flashed danman's firmware and it works. But it's on battery only and it doesn't see my drive. It's NTFS formatted. What should I do to get it automatically.

In that firmware there is also no fdisk command. In /dev I see an entry /sda1.

I can get it mounted by entering:  mount -t ntfs /dev/sda1 /mnt/shares

Is it possible for OpenWrt to automount this or something?

(Last edited by cariba on 30 Mar 2018, 22:19)

cariba ->

You have exactly what box ? BS-U25AWF-H1 ?

For danman firmware which version , link ?

For ntfs use ntfs-3g ( read & write)

I have compiled last day a firmware for BS-U25AWF-H1 with luci , ntfs , vfat , dlna , p910nd ( usb printer ) and more

http://www.mediafire.com/file/72bn1e9m7 … pgrade.bin

(Last edited by F5BJR on 31 Mar 2018, 10:02)

@F5BJR I don't have the H1. I have the BS-U25AWF.

I used this firmware from danman: /viewtopic.php?pid=351499#p351499 (one page back in this thread).

So I need to go and compile myself?

For comilation :

git clone https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt.git

After :
scripts/feeds uninstall freeswitch
git pull
scripts/feeds update -a
scripts/feeds install -a
make menuconfig

Quick Image Builder :
https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-develope … ild-images

Patch for BS-U25AWF
https://github.com/lede-project/source/ … era:u25awf

Edit the 7 files modified by daniel kucera
remove tmp folder
make menuconfig -> tag BS-U25AWF (16 MB )
make -j4

I have modified the 7 files and i compile at this time

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eIfj6s … sp=sharing

after mtd write "the BS-U25AWF firmware" firmware  no problem run also with my BS-U25AWF-H1
box is with a new model name !!

Kimax U-25AWF
Version du micrologiciel OpenWrt SNAPSHOT r6567-db893ec7f0 / LuCI Master (git-18.088.49307-90ed423)
Version du noyau 4.9.87
