Topic: Help unbrick UniFi AP LR

Hi,
Can anyone help me unbrick a UniFi AP LR (old).  It was running openwrt and I tried to revert to Ubiquiti firmware.  I followed wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/generic.uninstall and did:

mtd -r write /tmp/original_firmware.bin firmware

Now when I power up the AP the LED goes green after ~5 seconds and that's it.  Nothing on wireshark no arp.

Anyone able to help please?

Thanks
NTB

Most Ubiquiti stuff has TFTP recovery.  Hold down the reset button while turning the power on.  Keep holding until the signal LEDs begin to blink back and forth.  The router is now a TFTP server at 192.168.1.20.  Use a TFTP client on your PC to "put" a factory firmware to it.

Newer factory firmware may block the later installation of third-party firmware.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I tried that. When the AP powers up with the reset button pressed the LED comes on after a few seconds and never flashes no matter how long the button is pressed

Any ideas please?
